These two products are identical. The cheaper one requires proof that you are a student. Only by the student version if you don’t mind going through the verification process, which I understand can be slow and frustrating and you have easily identifiable proof - such as a school email. They do have a basic version that is even cheaper, but this upgrade (premium 11) offers a few worthy additions such as text to speech capability.

Dragon recently came out with a MAC version. Reviews suggest that the PC version is less buggy, so if you have a MAC and a PC, I’d get the PC version.
